FIVE FACTS FROM THE SOURCE (Embedded):
The U.S. sensus estimates that we have "eleven million illegal aliens in the United States"from around the world (IIS). And of those eleven million, "6.6 million are from Mexico alone" and could possibly be even higher from the people that did not "report in the census"(IIS).
|
The U.S. tries to do a good thing a help out a neighboring country but "instead of helping a neighboring country", we were "destroying" the core of our own (IIS).
|
A meat packing plant has been "raided" and all of their employees are rounded up, as a majority of them are "illegal aliens"(IIS). Then instead of sending them back, the plan just rehires them because they don't get in trouble, the company just "gets their hand slapped" for a couple days(IIS).
|
Many Americans disagree or may disapprove of what the United States government does, but they themselves don't help and "vote" to get the change that they feel is necessary(IIS).
|
A illegal alien "bragged" about how much money he got back for his kids in income taxes because "his buddies let them claim theirs" because they are without a job and can't file for income tax(IIS).

Summary of Source (Three-Four Sentences of the Who, What, Where, Why, and How in your own words. NO OPINION):
The Illegal Immigration Statistics has multiple statistics on the illegal immigration rate around the United States and specifically coming from Mexico into the U.S. It tells about how even though they are illegal, people still hire them because they are willing to work. Homeland security can't even ask to see their I.D. because they would consider it as profiling.
Credibility of Source:
Author or Site: Who is the author? What training have they had? If there is no author, examine the site. What is the purpose of the site? Who funds the site?
The purpose of this site is to tell all the people of the United States that Illegal Immigration isn't only costing us jobs but money as well.Attachment: Does the author or site have anything to gain from writing this, or is it simply informative? For example, is it a cigarette business posting an article about the benefit of cigarettes, or is it a scientific community unaffiliated with the cigarette business?
This is simply just to inform, there isn't even an author given.
Bias: Do you detect a bias (a favoring of either side) in the author's writing?
There is a bias in the authors writing because he mainly talks about how they manipulate the system for money and its costing us in the long run.
References: Does the author cite references in the writing? If so, do these add or take away from the credibility?
The author sites the U.S. census and this would add credibility because its from the government.
Use of Source: How will you use this source in your project?
I plan to use this source to help show how illegal immigration is affecting us because they are taking away jobs and taking our tax money because they know how and know they can manipulate the system.
