Proposed Topic in the form of an  Essential Question:

How can we get rid of illegal immgration?

Rationale for Choice

What about this topic appeals to you? Why did you choose it?

They are taking jobs away from Americans that should have the right to the job first. I chose this topic because living in California we have a lot of illegal immigrants from Mexico coming over causing violence and taking job opportunities away from Americans.

What do you already know about this subject?

I honestly do not know a lot but I am very interested in learning more.

What are you hoping to learn about the subject?

What our government is and is not doing to help solve this problem.

What are you most interested in regarding the topic?

 Finding out how to stop it completely.                                                                                                                                               

What potential risks or challenges do you foresee for your project?

I think a risk and a challenge I will face will be doing the community service aspect as I might have to go down to the Mexican border to talk to someone but my spanish is not quite up to par.
